I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that a man who's very nomination and confirmation was pushed forth by a big-money group (Judicial Crisis Network), funded by dark money from God-knows-who, would voice his dissent to this appeal decision.

I don't care to speculate much here. There was an unwritten dissent essentially stating that he would like to hear the case.

As a matter apart from law, it's a tricky area. The argument being brought to the court is that, since Super PACs have no limit on contribution and can be used to obscure sources of financing, a more transparent approach by lifting direct campaign donation restrictions would be better.

But apart from what is right, there is a legal question here. I think Gorsuch has shown dedication to a conservative interpretation of the law rather than an interpretation of law that benefits conservatives. Often, these things coincide.

The SCOTUS went way out of their way & actually beyond the scope of the original suit in the Citizens United ruling. It was a huge giveaway to big money. But that's obviously not good enough. They want it all.
