Here it is debate time and Gore is going back to "There's a woman that I know who only makes 12k a year..." or "Jim Dankelschimmer is a 70 year old man that I know..."
In case anyone hasn't seen these, they go on to say how they need this and that, and how Gore can get it for them. My question is why hasn't he done it already? Why hasn't he solved these problems? Why does he NEED to be President to fix these problems? He's got power right now, albeit a vice presidency, but has power nonetheless to at least make aware of these problems these people face. He did this several times at the Democratic convention and at least 3 or 4 times tonight!
