Please for the love of fuck quit linking stupid biased shit from the likes of Vox.

They haven't even announced their shitty proposal, but speculations from liberal bias sites isn't news. You're just peddling the fake news agenda more and more.

I almost hope they pass it.
States who opt out will be Republican, and it will hammer primarily older people. Almost laser targeted to fvck over Trump's own supporters.

If they were dumb enough to vote for the piece of shit, they get what they deserve.
My complaint is the majority of Americans did NOT vote for him and will also end up fucked. And there isnt a damn thing we can do about it.

Yes, but since this will be up to the states, it's primarily going to impact those who voted for Trump. And if they don't like it, they can throw Republican bums out at state level, just in time for 2020 census redistricting.

Puh-leese! Him actually informing himself by reading anything factually relevant to anything he's decrying or thread derailing is a pipe dream.

I just read about this... is this true? Someone should get an interview with this Tom MacArthur character and quiz him on this. I really really want to hear the rationale behind such an a amendment.

"Because fuck you!"

The GOP knows they can get away with shit like this because no matter what they do, their base will never vote for liberals and no matter how bad they act "independents" will just assume both sides the same. It's a great system they have going where Democrats get blamed for everything the GOP does.

Find another link on this from any credible source declaring this is on a bill to be voted on. I fucking dare you... CNN, NBC, FOX, Reuters... I'm giving you 4 mainstream choices. And no, HuffPo isn't credible. When you come back realizing how stupid you are and how wrong you are on your bias you can appologize or just continue to look stupid.

Whatever you're hearing and whatever you're reading is just talk. It's bullshit. Until it's on a bill it doesn't exist. Just because one member of Congress is proposing something doesn't mean it's on a bill and they are voting on it. The subject of this thread is wrong and is a fabricated lie.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/25/politics/macarthur-amendment-health-care-gop-bill/

GOP lawmakers in the House have taken the crucial step of putting their latest hope for a health care compromise on paper, circulating legislative text that could launch yet another round of health care talks just in time for the last of President Donald Trump's first 100 days in office.

Just because it isn't voted on doesn't mean it's not a bill. By that logic the thing that this amendment exists to amend wasn't a bill because it wasn't voted on. It is proposed legislation by GOP house members, which easily meets the definition of a bill. You should take your own advice and apologize, because you certainly owe several people one at this point.

It is a PROPOSED amendment to the stupid bill that failed last time from one lone dumbass.

A draft amendment obtained by CNN, first reported by Politico, gives renewed insight into where the GOP may be moving next.

Do I need to spoon feed you what the meaning of a proposal is? Read the thread title and tell me how that ties to your link.

They know it's DOA in the Senate anyways, but they want to vote it out of the house because right now, they are seen as impotent cucks who can't even get a bill out of the House they fully control.

Title of the thread: GOP's new healthcare bill waives pre-existing condition clause except for Congress + staff

Let's take it in order:
1) "GOP's": yes, it is a bill circulated by the GOP as the result of negotiations between their members.
2) "New health care bill": yes, it is a new health care bill. Well, amendment to a bill but it's functionally the same thing.
3) "waives pre-existing condition clause except for Congress + staff": yes, it permits waiving the pre-existing condition clause except for Congress + staff.

Thread title is 100% accurate. When can we expect your apology? You insulted the OP several times and lied about the content of his post. You should at least live up to your own standards.

Except once again you leave out the very word that you wrote yourself.

Proposal is the difference between: "I killed her" and "I propose to kill her"

Just taking out that one word (which you yourself wrote as well in your OP) makes all the difference in the world in the overall message. But you're just too bias to even realize how stupid you are.

By that logic the original GOP health care act that failed wasn't a bill either. Does that make much sense? One of us is definitely too biased to see how stupid they are, that's for sure.

Does this mean that you're not going to apologize despite demanding one from other posters? That's pretty hypocritical, don't you think?

The point is the GOP wants to restrict healthcare for the plebs. This is against our interests, and is in fact quite harmful.
Moreover, they want to exempt themselves, personally, from the damage they want to cause.
It is incredibly brazen for representatives to knowingly act with intent to harm people.

To be fair the MacArthur amendment doesn't propose to waive the pre-existing conditions clause for consumers but not for Congress. The MacArthur amendment proposes to waive the pre-existing conditions clause AND gut the essential health benefits for consumers but not for Congress.

There's just no hope left, I'm done here. Bravo, way to skirt the actual argument there.

Clear and cut example of someone with unconscious bias. Pretty disgusting if you can't even distinguish the difference between a proposed action and an actual action.
