I would quite like one of these to mount on my motorcycle. Do I need a specialist anti-vibration mount or are the Go Pro standard mounts good enough?

I bought my gopro and then 2 weeks later the released the hero 2. now they release the hero 3...seems like they release cameras way too quickly.

Seems its a yearly thing nowadays, the gp2 was released exactly a year ago, and the gp4 will probably be released same time next year.

The fixed mounts vibrate like crazy.

I strapped my GoPro to the passenger seat headrest with an extra sock to numb the vibration, and the video still caught every bounce.

The image that comes out is fine and pretty stable for viewing, but compared to me holding the camera with a hand in the passenger seat, my hand made it looked almost like a gyro.

Question:

When you scroll through the different shooting modes/menu options do you only have one button to scroll with? As in, are you only able to scroll in one direction? If you accidentally scroll past the shooting mode you want you have to scroll through the whole list again just to get back to the mode you want?

My GoPro2 only has 2 buttons - one for scrolling (down) and one for selecting. It infuriates me to no end.
