Local channel WSOC-TV reported: “The congressman’s office insists he never made the divisive statement…Pittinger told [ThinkProgress] he does not support the employment non-discrimination act and the blogger ran with it.”

The office repeated the denial to MSNBC: “His opposition to ENDA was ‘translated’ into ‘firing gays’ by that blogger,” the director, Jamie Bowers, wrote in an email to msnbc on Friday.”

I do not agree with the this GOPers comments,.. however, he is entitled to speak his mind. In fact, I DO hope he speaks his mind. That way, the public knows exactly what he stands for.

I mean, why hide an agenda? Why not be crystal clear on such matters? Also, why deny the comment? Does he not stand really stand for his beliefs? Also, he can't be the only one who feels this way - everyone who feels this way should be open and announce what they think.

Otherwise, how do you expect us to not vote for you vote for the people who represent what we want??

Problems with Small dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (low cranial index) include (but arent limited to):
1. compulsiveness (which is positively correlated with type A blood although the correlation has become smaller over time due to race mixing and rape)
2. telling lies when everyone else knows the truth
3. telling the truth when you could get away with lying.

Most liars (myself included) are logically compulsive. We can't help it.

He didn't say businesses should have the “autonomy” to fire workers for being LGBT as reported by thinkprogress. What he said was “autonomy to run their own business.” Did you listen to the tapes or did you just go by what you were told? It's right on the tape clear as day. Also why would Thinkprogress leave out his first response which he said that people are already protected?
