what a boring troll can’t look beyond New York
Other parts of the U.S. too, why do you think Democrats lost 22 House seats since 2020, with the social tension? Because a lot of police unions told voters to vote GOP because the Republicans would protect cops from police reform, and a lot of moderate Dems like Spanberger, Manchin, etc. agree.

If people listened to police unions we would have stricter gun control laws which police departments overwhelmingly favor.

Actually Dems lost 10 seats since 2020 despite the so called red wave of 2022

Democrats would crackdown on rural white voters if they had the temerity to do so, but they don't.

GOP does that, because they don't think they can appeal to minorities, especially Black voters. Latinos, they can, cause a lot of Latinos are right wing.
Here's another reminder to go fuck yourself, early and often!

That's your (cynical) opinion-do you have any actual facts to base it on? The reason I ask is because I worked as a volunteer lawyer/poll observer in a swing state in the elections of 2000, 2004 and 2008. In each year we got a binder full of election stuff to study and went through several hours of specialized training. In every case the team leaders explicitly stated that our job was to observe and help anyone who appeared to be having problems getting to vote REGARDLESS of who we thought they would probably vote for. The overall philosophy was get out as much of the vote as possible. I know I helped several people who explicitly told me they were GOP (we wore badges identifying us as Democratic Party observers. And this was in a state and during elections where the GOP was actively pulling dirty tricks to block the Dem Party 's efforts. But it was also an era where (like in Watergate) where the majority of GOP also believed in democracy and saw free and fair elections as paramount.

It's truly sad to see the state of the GOP today. Quislings all.
