What is a "military style" rifle?
If others haven't covered that enough, and keeping in mind that I am a gun lover who lusts for a Barrett M82, let me just play into your game and say a military style rifle is one that looks scary to dainty but lovely young Democratic ladies like AOC.

The only threat was the one uttered by Beto to take peoples firearms when he never mentioned legislation or judicial review

Aren’t you precious all concerned about legislation and judicial review when it comes to your guns.

With the application of two simple deeply held republican beliefs a Democratic President can unilaterally take your guns easily.

Every republican knows the President can overturn the 14th amendment via executive oder. So he revokes your citizenship via EO.

Then every republican knows the constitution only applies to citizens which you will no longer be. The 2nd amendment no longer applies to you and truthfully you would be an illegally armed alien in the US.

ICE picks you up and sends you back where you came from.

To bad you guys threw the constitution and checks and balances under the bus.

I did read the OP, bitch. My statement is correct as written. Thanks for proving my point.

Jesus. You double downed on stupid

Right in the link in the OP it says to ban.

To ban something means there has to be a law preventing it.

God you are dumb

Hey dimwit, i'm all about legislation, judicial review, the rule of law and the Constitution. Now go take your illegal vigilante fad based actions and shove them where the sun don't shine. :tonguewink:

If you're all about legislation, judicial review, the rule of law, and the Constitution, then why do you support a President who says and wants to do everything that Paratus described? You shouldn't be so foolish as to believe that any power you give the govt to do unto others couldn't possibly be done unto you.

Because I believe in the rule of law, judicial review and the Constitution I vote the way I have for the last 40+ years. Beto on the other hand is a drunken driver and burglar that threatens to invade homes and take legal firearms from citizens.

If you repeat something often enough it becomes the truth!! But in your case it just becomes fodder for a good laugh!!!

No, you're a liar who claims to believe to believe in the rule of law, judicial review and the Constitution, while at the same time bragging about how you want to kill people with grenades because you don't believe that the rule of law, judicial review and the Constitution applies to them, for one reason or another. You supported a sheriff in AZ who jailed legal citizens, without judicial review, on the mere suspicion that they might not be in America legally. You support a President who frequently threatens to unconstitutionally revoke the citizenship, without judicial review, of anyone whose speech he disagrees with, and to send them back to where they came from, even when where they came from is America.
So no, pal, you quite clearly do not believe in the rule of law, judicial review and the Constitution. You're just another hypocrite who is more than happy to see the Constitutional rights of others trampled on, but then freaks out at the prospect that the same thing might happen to you.

Reminds me of a book I was reading. It was set in the near future where in a side story the unfiltered internet had convinced many people in the rural US to join a Christian sect called the Leviticans who worship Tactical Jesus.

They only wore single fabrics, had truck mounted automatics, and burned crosses. Which was totally not racist because it was to refute the Catholic conspiracy that pussy Jesus died on the cross for our sins and wanted us to love one another.

The real Tactical Jesus was too manly for that and really he fought and crushed the romans.

These days it seems a surprisingly possible future.

Added this to my reading list, thank you sir.

If the government says they're going to take your free speech away but give you a $25 Visa gift card, is it violence if one pushes back?

What a pathetic response!! Is that the best you can do?
What if they government says we won`t take your guns!! Go ahead and keep them!!
But we are going to confiscate all your ammo and having ammo will be a federal crime punishable by -- you guessed it -- dreath by a firing squad!!

You already believe that non-conservative (liberal, progressive, or leftist) speech should be taken away by the government (for various made up, usually paranoid reasons), and you support statements made by govt leaders to do exactly that (ie send them back), and you condemn as violent any push back against that (even when the push back is completely non-violent, such as the 2017 Womens March). And you're not even offering any gift cards.

The democracy that @JEDIYoda imagines is so free the government will shoot you to death if you don't exercise your "freedom" to not have guns ammunition. That sure sounds like someone who trusts his "democratic" countrymen to do the right thing.
