First Reagan and Bush Sr redefine "liberal", which if you look up the real meaning is a good thing, to be a derogatory term.

Then there is the Patriot Act, a blatant attempt to label anyone who values Democracy and Freedom over our Fascist regime as unpatriotic.

Now they have a new "stop loss" program, which rather than following the actual meaning of "stop loss" as it is frequently used in the stock market which would be to cut your losses and quit/sell/leave Iraq, they are redefining "stop loss" to mean "keep soldiers deployed after their duty obligations have been completed," much like a draft.

What is the next piece of our language which these doublespeakers will attempt to pervert the meaning of?

It depends on what the definition of is....is.

Neither the program nor the term is new. I was stop-lossed into spending an extra year in Korea during the original Gulf War, so it's at least 14 years old.
