These quotes.. The fact he goes on Fox news to defend trump, sad.

And then, the congressman got colorful:

“It’s like Forrest Gump won the presidency, but an evil, really fucking stupid Forrest Gump. He can’t help himself. He’s just a fucking idiot who thinks he’s winning when people are bitching about him. He really does see the world as ratings and attention. I hate Forrest Gump. I listen to your podcast and heard you hate it too. What an overrated piece of shit movie. Can you believe it beat the Shawshank Redemption?”

The congressman continued that “they just might pull the trigger if the President fires Mueller,” and that “shit will hit the fan if that happens and I’d vote to impeach him myself.”

“Most of us [Republicans] would, I think,” he added. “If we’re going to lose because of him, we might as well impeach the motherfucker. Take him out with us and let Mike [Pence] take over. At least then we could sleep well at night.”

And now for the grand f*cking finale:

“I say a lot of shit on TV defending him, even over this. But honestly, I wish the motherfucker would just go away. We’re going to lose the House, lose the Senate, and lose a bunch of states because of him. All his supporters will blame us for what we have or have not done, but he hasn’t led. He wakes up in the morning, shits all over Twitter, shits all over us, shits all over his staff, then hits golf balls. Fuck him. Of course, I can’t say that in public or I’d get run out of town.”

Yup at least Gump had the best intentions behind what he did. Every act was selfless. Couldn’t be any more different than Forrest Trump.

actually, the congressman called him an evil, really stupid Forrest Gump, so I think it is apt. Failing up (and certainly down, as well), and only ever with evil, selfish intent.

Yep: story of Trump's life.

Actually this is reflective of rifts that are currently sundering both the Democrats and the Republicans. There is a rising populist left and a rising populist right. Neither of these groups are ever going to change anything. I believe our system is now completely fixed in stone. The little people still get a say so on gay marriage and other non-economic related social issues. On the fiscal issues, there will never again in our lifetime be an economic bill passed that doesn't in some way primarily benefit the 1%.

I am officially putting my left nut on that last statement. If I am proven wrong my left nut is gone.

This Congressman/Senator had to meet the reporter hiding between aisles at a grocery store in order to speak his mind. If that doesn't tell you the Halls of Congress are corrupted, I don't know what will.

It doesn't matter if people belive it or not. Its either true or not, peoples belief in it matters not one jot.

Since it’s the 1% who have the bulk of the skin in the game that’s probably as it should be. We don’t let children vote on how their parents spend their earnings either for the same reason people making $8/hour shouldn’t get to control economic policy just because they outnumber those earning the dough to pay for everything.

Unnamed sources! fake news!

lol, that really is some funny shit, though.

But “People are saying” and “They’re really, really smart people”. I’m not saying that I’m just saying people are talking about it. Many, many, many people. Maybe they’re all wrong, I don’t know.

Sorry, what? People who make minimum are akin to children? Should they be thankful for their egalitarian ruler class for permitting them to ask for more bread?

But you see, the 1% have the bulk of the skin in the game because they corrupted our politicians into letting them be that way.

This imbalance didn't/doesn't have to be that way were it not for this 1% purposely shoving their way into our system of gov't and tilting every single thing the gov't has control over into their favor.

Witness what Trump and his fellow Repub legislators just did with handing over so much more wealth to the 1% that they didn't actually need to have. They were doing just fine without that huge giveaway they got from their paid off stooges in the legislature.

They aren’t asking for bread, they’re voting to have the government take the bread from the rich at their behest.

No, they're asking for bread to be redistributed from the breadmakers and bread hoarders who've manipulated law over the last hundred+ years back to be in control of the people, so they don't have to steal bread from each other while those with mountains of bread 'tsk tsk' them from afar.

Do you enjoy licking the boots of your corporate overlords? Because it really looks that way.

To say the working class has no skin in the game is asinine. They have just as much if not more, because to them it's not about gaining or losing some petty cash, it's about being able to make ends meet or not. Their skin in the game is their actual skin.
