Hillary Clinton isn't president yet. She hasn't even won the Democratic nomination. But a Republican congressman is already getting ready for the opportunity to impeach her -- on the first day of her hypothetical presidency.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) recently spoke with talk radio host Matt Murphy and said the real issue with Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state is "how many lives she put at risk by violating all rules of law that are designed to protect America's top-secret and classified information from falling into the hands of our geopolitical foes who then might use that information to result in the deaths of Americans."

Brooks added Republicans are going to make sure this issue follows Clinton into office, should she be elected president in 2016.

"And in my judgment, with respect to Hillary Clinton, she will be a unique president if she is elected by the public next November, because the day she's sworn in is the day that she's subject to impeachment because she has committed high crimes and misdemeanors," he said.

Since they can't win an election.. they'll try this hanky panky?

Republican party is insane, I guess it's a reflection on their voters who keep electing these nut jobs.

Brooks is a total nutcase, he said once on Faux news that the democrats are waging a "war on whites".

If a person becomes President during a criminal investigation... are they granted retroactive immunity?

It is pretty obvious she lied, and did things she should not have. I don't see how it's "hanky panky" when shes guilty. There is a double standard for her, and other people who have committed lesser offenses of the same nature.

But can we get off the stupid meme picture posting.

They're just following their idol:

(the National Socialist German Workers Party would walk out during votes, intimidate voters, and generally try to obstruct democracy)

Their fear of Hillary is beyond insane.
Obviously, they fully expect SHE will be our next president.
As if THEY themselves had one single plausible candidate out there to chose from.
Hell, they can't even get someone sane and decent to do the job of house speaker, let alone run for president.
That is, no one not either full blown clown car crazy, or tainted with past scandal of their own.
i.e. name recognition (Jeb), disastrous leadership performance (Carly).

In the old days we had murder and violent assassinations.
Politics then changed preferring character assassination over bloody violent bullet in the head assassination because character assassination was believed to be MUCH LESS MESSY.
So bring on the Clinton character assassination.

Sure.... for them it would be so much easier to just hire some dark mysterious retired CIA agent and do it the old nasty bullet bullet in the head way, like with JFK and MLK. But I guess today its all about political correctness.
And it would look kind of bad to have Bill, Chelsey and the little baby all sad faced dressed in black as the horse drawn funeral procession strolled by.

However... there 'is" a third option. VOTE ENTIRELY DEMOCRATIC come 2016.
I mean... If we are going to elect the first woman president and she happens to be a democrat, wouldn't it make sense to elect a full democratic house and senate as well?

And looking ahead, WHAT for gods sake will the republican party ever do when Hillary nominates Burnie Sanders as her 2016 running mate? Will simple character assassination still be enough for them?

I'm on record here as not being much of a Hillary fan, but the Repubs are just batshit crazy and getting worse by the cycle. Can you imagine just how crazy they'll be in 20 years -- fucking frightening I tell you!

I love this thread.

Republicans are now both Hitler, and one republican represents all republicans.

The problem is that it's not just 1 person. At least 1/4 of the entire party is completely retarded and believe at least one of the following:
-There is a global conspiracy of scientists lying about global warming. We're actually more certain about global warming than we are that smoking causes cancer. As expected, many of those republicans denying climate science are the same republicans denying a link between smoking and cancer. These would be the same republicans who think marijuana and LSD kill people.
-There is a global conspiracy of scientists lying about evolution.
-There is a conspiracy to turn everyone in America gay.
-There is a conspiracy hiding the fact that Obama was born in Kenya.
-There is a conspiracy hiding the fact that Obama is a Muslim.
-There is a conspiracy hiding the fact that Obama is a radical Christian affiliated with reverend Wright (he's only a radical Muslim on week days).

The party is a mess right now.

Who cares? They'll just keep "Investigating" her actions until they'll find a "Lie". Even if it means asking her a question they really have no business asking. Just put her into a position where telling the truth is too uncomfortable and lying has no real relation to your Job, but may spare consequence in your personal life. Then when caught, claim victory and act as if they have committed a crime against their Office.

The party is a mess right now.

And Obama didn't build that!

The amount of time, effort & money put into the propaganda to create such widespread craziness over the last 35 years or so has to be staggering.

Yep- You built that, Republicans. Heckuva job!

Yup good way to build bridges and get stuff done.

Yeah I think someone should stick to that Suthin' Gentlemen image thing, maybe ask themselves what Horus/Dionysus/Zarathustra/Jesus would do. If not, I think a party with the GOP's history regarding women trying to impeach the first female PoTUS on Day 1 would be pretty hilarious actually.

Emails. She lied, and mislead. She is far from stupid, she knew exactly what she was doing. Does that mean that should would be a bad President for it? No. But it means I trust her less.
