Ben Gibson, who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in November, was arrested in Louisiana this Wednesday and booked on four counts of child pornography, WGNO reports.

Gibson, who was an active Airman at Barksdale Air Force Base, was a challenger in a four-way race for the U.S. House Dist. 4 Congressional seat and lost to Rep. Mike Johnson, who won re-election. Jared Kutz, 30, of Bossier City was also arrested as a result of the investigation and charged with two counts of pornography.

As Media Matters pointed out in January, Gibson has endorsed the “QAnon” conspiracy theory, using its hashtag multiple times on his Facebook campaign page and other social media accounts. The QAnon cult believes that there’s an underground network of Satanic pedophiles who are being covertly pursued by President Trump.

It's the right wing projection/hypocrisy paradox.

Yep, and anyone that went through the satanic panic should have predicted this when QAnon started howling about this shit. The idiots being duped are likely enabling exactly what they think they're fighting against.

Which, if you look into the sex trafficking statistics that get claimed you can also start realizing something is very fishy. Full stop, the sex trafficking that people are scared about (the stranger danger someone from somewhere else kidnaps someone and puts them into some global network of it, has, just like "satanic ritual sacrifice of humans/babies" essentially no actual evidence of it happening). There were like 2-3 good episodes of "You're Wrong About" that covered this. The stats keep ballooning because every single case of a missing person often gets lumped in and often more than once (because there's multiple organizations, and then the final tally just adds all of them together). Oh and even if the person is found (and so no longer missing, which was a lot of them, the majority even I believe, it was over 50% but I think it was higher more like 90% of the supposed missing children are found and its basically never sex trafficking) they don't get taken off the tally.

That's not to say sex trafficking doesn't occur, it absolutely does, but its far different than what people want to believe. What does happen is that either someone they know (often a boyfriend) slowly pushes them to it (by starting out trying to get them to have sex with another woman, then another guy, then further and further and in some cases the woman wasn't even aware there was money being exchanged she just thought it was like a cuckold situation or something), or someone wants to get to a different country and pays someone and then willingly goes only to end up being held hostage and being forced into sex work (which is horrible, but it also leads to lots of issues in that, the victims often get demonized because they're illegal immigrants, but they also were fleeing a horrible situation so they don't want to go back; but generally they end up charged with crimes themselves instead of viewed as the actual victims; there's more complexity than I'm even adding).

Accusing your opponents of what you're guilty of is an aggressive tactic as old as time.

Of course the Q Cucks Clan are a bunch of pedophiles and traitors, since it's the only thing they scream hysterically about.

How any Q Cucks Clan member can say with a straight face that Donald Trump, a man who has fucking bragged about getting away with sexually assaulting women, is going to "bring down" sex slave syndicates is hilarious on its face.

If there isn't an internet law for it yet, there should be. It should state something along the lines of - If a republican is vociferous about something e.g. child pornography and homosexuality, there is a 99.9 percent probability that they are engaging in it.

It seems to be a social conservative rule of thumb, since it happens in other countries as well. Basically: a politician or candidate's prudishness is proportionate to the degree they're engaging in the practice they condemn.

Remember when they got all weirded out by Joe Biden nibbling his wife's finger?

This also occurs in religious fundamentalism. Look at the Catholic Church.

Or the diffusely conservative boy scouts. They were against homosexuality and tried to link it to pedophilia.

House many rabid prolifers do you think had or were instrumental in at least one abortion?

All puritanical groups are full of self loathing individuals who can't control themselves so they make themselves feel better by attacking others and shifting blame.

Edit the post above me said what I did. My app didn't load the post until after I wrote this.
