Where's the NCAA thread today! I guess this will be it. A sad day for the Big East, losing two of its remaining teams yesterday. How about those Huskies, though? And, where oh where is a big fvcking apology for bad-mouthing St. Joes thread? Now I want to see Xavier make the Elite Eight just so to humble all the "experts."

Wake was a young inexperienced team. They should have won, but they did not take care of the ball nor did they make any effort at all into getting Chris Paul into the game. Hats off to Jameer and company, but keep in mind that Wake Forest only finished 4th in the ACC and lost in the first round of the ACC tournament.

Roll Tide, hope they win it all to make everyone's bracket as pathetic as mine.

St Joes played a great game. Nelson and West were downright phenomenal. Provided they stay hot, they're taking home the trophy.

I agree, there is no doubt that St. Joes is a good team and Nelson's leadership cannot be discounted.
Also while I am a Wake fan, I won't deny their play was very inconsistent this season. Look at their
games. They could string together 3 or four big wins against ranked oppenents, and then lose 3 or 4 to
teams they really should have beat. Now I am really not trying to discount St. Joes win, because they
are a very good team. My only grip about St. Joes was all that undefeated talk. I think that if they had to
play in the ACC/ Big East/ Big 12, they would have had a few loses this season, though I still believe
they would probably be ranked inside the top 10.

When will Alabama get respect from ESPN? For the past week all they've been talking about was UCONN and Syracuse playing together, completely ignoring the fact that we beat Stanford. Now that we beat Syracuse they're saying we better go ahead and pack our bags because we're not going to be there long.

What do we have to do?

i wouldn't count out Ga Tech at the moment.

they are probably the best team in their bracket and they haven't played their best ball yet. if they play up to their ability, they should win their bracket.

once in the final four, well, it will be interesting.

isn't st. joes / uconn big east??

it could be a 2 conference final four with duke and ga tech representing the ACC. :)

yeah
too bad the big12 has done that the past 2 years.
i can see 3 big 12 teams in the FF this year.
if that happens, 7 out of 12 the past 3 years.

Umm... the national media have been all over UAB and UAT. Have to say that I hope both advance.

Get into the finals with UAB and win it in a 7 overtime game in which it comes down to 2 on 2 since everyone else is fouled out

Ga Tech is a young team as well, but has an excellent chance to make it into the Final 4. It will have to get by 2 upset specials, Nevada and UAB.

St Joe's should have an interesting time with Oklahoma State. They have had to squeak by recently, but I doubt if Eddie Sutton and co. will let them

ESPN still continues to pitch a tent for UConn and so far they are rolling. UConn will be favored by alot, but I will be pulling for Bama.

It should be Duke and Xavier in the next game. Duke has breezed through the tournament in every game it has played(Illinois is on a roll though) Xavier is on fire though. I look for Duhon, Reddick, Deng and Ewing to make it pure hell on the Xavier guards, while Williams and Deng clean up the glass.

Well national media is fine, but I'm talking about ESPN... Same with our football program, they seem to always bash us.
