GoogleTalk - Setting "Away" when locking Windows?

Apparently GTalk doesn't support the option to automatically put me in "Away" status whenever I lock my PC. Is there any way to accomplish this maybe with some sort of add-on or something? I don't know why they don't do it by default but it's something I'd really like.

Doesn't it put you into away mode when it stops seeing activity at the keyboard/mouse (like Skype, Kopete, and others)?
 
Well yeah after a set amount of minutes like a screensaver. But other programs have a setting so if you press Windows + L to lock the machine, it IMMEDIATELY put syou into away mode.

Lots of times I step away from my PC just for a few minutes so I want it to put me away right away since by the time I get back to my desk it hasn't been enough time to trigger the timer. But I still want people to know I'm not actually at my desk.
