10/18 Google CEO wrote to WSJ OP/ED page about the purpose of Google Print

10/19 Association of American Publishers filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in New York alleging that Google's digital copying of books covered by copyright is an infringement.

posting both articles will be quite long. they are worth reading.
