google voice driving me crazy

thought it was a messed up rom on my old phone but i just updated to a DNA and it's doing the same. i get a gv text, read it, delete it, and the next time i get a text, the new text as well as any deleted ones show up in the inbox.

only way i have found to delete it for sure is a browser logged into gv and emptying trash permanently..... is this a new gv feature? ugh
