Google video sucks for uploading

It has now said that for 17 hours.

Uploading took about 30 mins, verifying took about 2.5 hours (completely understandable, they are manually viewed by staff for content) what you figure would be the easiest step... posting the video... is slower than hell. There are people on the support forums who have been on this step for as long as 4 days.

Is there a better free host for large movies? (~100MB)

They have to re-encode it to the FLV format, then upload it.

No where does it mention re-encoding the video no wonder the quality sucks and there's artifacing on a lot of the videos, i figured it was a bunch of ameteur encoders.

Anyone know of a good free host?

The last hosting i got was through devioustrap on this site, and rapidly exceeded $80 a month for bandwidth costs.

Hence why i was asking for a free host.

Unless of course you want to front me 2TB a month in bandwidth for $10 a month viper

Thats what my last site was running, actually it went well over that and wouldve been in the 6-7TB range per month.

This is just a single 62MB file i need to get hosted though, not a full site.

They are videos of gaming on various games, i suppose i could try uploading to fileplanet, they have free hosting as well for this kind of thing.
