GOOGLE TV

Fvck Ads! Think about a cable TV service that let's you pick as many or as few channels for some sort of tiered rate.

Like, if I only wanted local channels + Weather + CSPAN + CNN + FoxNews + Discovery + TLC + History + SPEED... I would get those only and pay, say, $4.95/month. HDTV would cost an extra $1.99/month. Something like that.
 
I actually saw this station on my DirecTV the other night. I turned it on for just long enought to say "Look honey, now Google's got a TV station too! :roll:"

Man, I wish I'd bought Google stock way back when...

Or, maybe it was Current TV and the timeslot had Google listed. I can't exactly remember.

EDIT: Yeah that was it, it was on Current TV and the timeslot said "Google Current...

Maybe a Google tivo unit that pulls information from the web while you're watching TV. Think sports..
