42 blocked popups in 1.5 days, it's not obtrusive, and it makes google searching easier.

Thank you Google!!

Where can one get this 2.0 version? The button on their page appears to be dead.

I downloaded it around lunchtime today here at work, so far it's gotten 21 popups and it's proving quite capable. I like it, I didn't ever get around to installing version 1.

From the same link above that someone else posted. I just checked and it's still working.

I actually like the Yahoo Companion better because it has all my Yahoo Bookmarks so I fly around the web at hyperspeed. Search goes to Google anyway.

If only it had the popup blocker, it'd be golden.

if you didn't already have a popup blocker before google's beta, there's no hope for you anyways. :D

Proxomitron!

Can filter out all kinds of useful things; including specific html...which I've found useful for something in particular.

I used that for awhile, but it was seriously slowing down the speed of my browsing.... I dunno why, but it got laggier over time....

Did you have a lot of custom HTML filters?

I don't like google knowing where I go. I don't want a visit from Asscrack cause some fool here linked me to a 'Bush is a monkey' site.

They don't track where you go i.e. Moombeam just went to site: bigblablabla.com they only track that some google user went to that site.

I like it so far...

There was a WIRED article about google a couple months ago. It talked about how the google headquarters have a computer that just shows all the searches that are being done around the world. They are able to tell what city/country the searches are coming from, so they obviously know your IP.... so, they could track you if they wanted to, which is a little disturbing. www.googlewatch.org talks about some of googles "bad" practices, etc... But i still use the google toolbar 2.0 cause its really handy.
