Is it just an update to voice search? If so I can't get it till I swap ROMs (or figure out how to fix it, my CM nightly is being a little biatch).

It's a new app in the app store, but I think it's more of a replacement for voice search.

I just sent my wife an email via voice---I'm loving this!

I was able to just install it from the market with Sapphire. I suppose mileage varies.

oooh yeah. I was using SpeedTeam's most recent build. It works great except it doesn't always place nice. Going back to Chromatic 4.2 and then possibly straight Cyanogen til I get this working.

Yea I installed it on Sapphire with no problems. I seem to get getting a lot of Server Errors when it trys to convert what I'm saying though. I guess the servers are slammed? You'd think they would have been ready for it.

looks like I'm not alone with myTouch having issues with this. I'm giving it one more go and then I'll admit defeat.

The solution you posted worked good for my Evo with CM. The voice recognition does work surprisingly well.

I got it working after I stopped taking shortcuts. I was using android commander because it makes it easy to toggle between deleting apks and command line. Once I backed out of that and used a real command line, it worked great.
