How would it be possible for someone to change your Google talk status line and the image you are showing?

On the Gf's laptop last night when she wanted to log on to Googletalk, her status line showed 'I like to f*ck call me' and the picture had changed.

Her laptop was left alone all day and this appeared. I checked it for Spyware and virus's but it came out clean. Any ideas how it could happen?

I thought maybe some idiot kid used his "leet haxx0ring skillz" to join the network but the router logs were empty except for the laptop.
