Google, so many useful features

By now, everyone knows about google, but today I found so more useful features. First, if you have ever searched on google, found what you are looking for, clicked the link and it said page not found? All you have to do is click the cached button and woila, there is your page. Google can also do maps and phone numbers too. No longer will I have to use whitepages.com or goto mapquest.com (although thats where it links you). You can go HERE to view all of googles useful features. Hope someone gets some new info out of this.

I justed wanna say that I'm pretty pc savvy and all this info was new to me. Especially the cached pages part, which has burned me in the past. If at least one person gets something new out of this, I'll be happy.

Yeah...it's a great feature.

I did a search for 'google' and about 300 threads popped up. Looked at the titles and didn't see anything about the cache button.
 
I'm just saying it's not really new news...it's been there for a LONG time.

Heck, if *I* knew about it, I figured everyone did. Considering how dense I am at times. 😉
 
i use cached all the time just cuz its easy to find what i'm looking for in the page
 
I've had Google set as my start page for over a year now.

I recently found that my sister had a similar idea long before me when I fired up her old Power-Book (currently used as my "couch-browser" machine) for the first time in 2 years and found, yep, you guessed it, Google as the start page!

anoter good reason to use the cahce button is becaus it higlights the search terms of ryou. even if you have the google bar with high lgith feature this is still easer and fiaster
