Google sketchup, layer bug?

I have this model with multiple layers, it seems when I turn off one of the layers, the other layer turns off too. Has anyone seen this before? It just botched my entire project, since it's impossible to work on it with both of those layers enabled, I need to disable only one. The objects are separate and not part of the same group. I hope this makes sense.

Basically turning off layer A hides layer B objects too. Hiding layer B works ok and only hides the objects it should.

Figured it out, so apparently when you group objects and set them under a layer, it does not remove the individual objects from that layer. You have to explode then add the individual sections to the layer then group them.
