Google Sidebar Gmail indexer doesnt work

I installed google sidebar after seeing the other thread in OT. I like a few features, and if I can get the gmail indexer working, I might actually keep it installed.

I cant get it to index anything. Any ideas?

i think it's in the preference where you specify you want to index gmail?

It's still beta. There are alot of things that don't work.
