My friend emailed me saying Google can search the web for credit card numbers?

If you go to google and type in:
visa 4356000000000000..4356999999999999

you get 2 pages of results. Some of which show name, address, credit card number, exp date.
Isn't this bad? horrible for identity theft? Some of the exp dates are expired, but couldn't you easily guess it?

Hah my friend IM'ed me this a couple hours ago. Google has a lot of neat tricks that let you find insecure systems/passwords/supposedly private info

Thank the pagan lords more and more companies are starting to use that three digit security code on the back to complete transactions.

Hopefully. I just don't want to be seeing my credit card and info on Google someday.

It'd be fun to type in my CC numbers to see what it finds but that'd be kinda stupid.

Well with the number range function you could search for a range of cards that includes yours, if you really wanted to find out.

I would never search Google using any legit credit/debit card numbers or SSN.
