Google satellite pics

Google added satellite pictures of NO after Katrina. So I found the same spot in Google Earth and made a before and after for the hell of it.

It would help if you used the same area for both pics, so the "after" pic doesn't look like SRRC was washed away to those who don't know the area.

How old is the first one? That upper bridge isn't even there on the "Before" pic...

The after pic is a few blocks south of the before pic.

the upper bridge in 'after' is the same as the bridge in the 'before'

Actually, these are the best, but their a PITA to navigate (most aren't rotated in the correct direction and the squares are pretty much arbitrary).

Managed to find my family and friends' houses.

Nice, but the noaa pics are higher res (albeit hard to navigate).
