Is there any way to tell on the Google play store if an App will be compatible with a certain model of phone without actually having the phone tied to your account?
My dad is looking to buy a new phone, and one of the main things he uses it for is golf GPS (Golflogix app). I wouldn't have even thought that compatibility would be an issue, but I bought him a new tablet at Christmas (acer a810) and it was not compatible with the app. I checked the Golflogix website but their compatible phone listing looks like its out of date, I have a different phone that is not on their website but have installed it without a problem.
The phone he is looking at is an LG Optimus F6. He doesn't want to buy the phone if the app wont work for it, but i cant figure out how to tell if the app will work without having the phone in hand.
