Google Play & Amazon App Store issue..

It seems as if the 2 app stores try to update each other. If i install an app from google play, Amazon will say it has an update for it. If i update it then google play has an update for it, or so it seems. I try to install from google play mostly when i can.

Is their a way to make it so Amazon stops trying to update apps that Google play says are updated?

Am i the only one getting this? I know i can turn the notifications off in the Amazon app but id rather just make it so it stops looking at apps google play installed.

Turning notifications off in the Amazon app store is your best bet. They tend to go between slightly behind to *far* behind Play.

This and then for the opposite issue you can detach apps from the market in titanium and maybe some other apps.

I've completely uninstalled the Amazon App store, takes up memory when I don't want it too and most of the free apps are not worth it. The play store has the larger app selection and updates to apps are by far faster.

Yeah I got rid of the Amazon app store a while back. Free apps are nice, but I think I'd rather just pay for the apps I want and not have to worry about two separate sets of apps to update.

Same here.
I haven't clicked on Free Amazon Apps of the day since December last year.

Those free apps I got from Amazon, I never really used them...Maybe 1 or 2 max.
They also take forever to update their apps. Some of the apps on Amazon are at least 2-3+ months behind what's on the Play Store.
