Google Phone?

I seriously doubt it.
This "Google" phone will likely keep surfacing, and likely is the result of the Google Experience phones. There have been two so far - the G1 and the DROID.

I think it's plausible. Google has flatly denied it in the past, but that doesn't mean it's not actually true. A VOIP/data only phone could be VERY interesting dependent on pricing.

I do think if they jump into the service market it could damage their relationship with both handset manufacturers and carriers that they're not directly collaborating with... but in the end, they probably need Google more than Google needs them.

This is what I'm thinking too. They will hurt their relationships a lot. I'd like to think they'll make more money on licensing the OS to companies to use than building their own phone but obviously have no numbers to back it up.

That article is clearly talking about another HTC phone. Am I missing something here?

well, it looks like the Google is now having a move if this is true!
I wonder hoe Google Phone will gonna function compare to other mobile phones...
and what will be its edge among the others :D
