Is that like Yahoo! Notepad?

I think the only reason Google's services are getting so much publicity is exactly that: because they're getting so much publicity.

Yahoo! only flaunted their services on their own networks, with "hints" (ads on their pages saying you can do so and so)

And Yahoo! was there first.

my cursory overview of yahoo's notepad seems to me that it is nothing like google's notepad.

the article compares google notepad to http://del.icio.us currently owned by yahoo.
