Going through google.ca and clicking on news, you get :
Google Error

We're sorry...
... but we can't process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your computer is free of viruses and other spurious software.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.

What kind of stupid message is this, they are saying that I'm the one infected? Are you all getting the same thing?

if you're running on a dynamic, could be the ip was just passed to you from someone who did. I'd run that stuff anyway though.

I can't remember the name of it... but tehre is some piece of spyware that whenever you search for something on google, it changes your terms so that you get commercial sites instead of the actual ones that google would display.

I had that for the LONGEST time. Finally Lavasoft came up with an update that allowed me to remove it. It was annoying.
