Google Map Killer

It looks and seems nice. I think it could zoom in and out a little more smoother but nice nontheless.

Yea the birds eye views are amazing, but the header takes up 1/3 of the map, and that direction/size thing on the left takes up too much of whats left.

True, but it at least it has a bit of its own flvor. The birds eye view is actually a really good idea.

minor bug, but if you click and drag the map and drag your mouse out of the browser window and let up, if you move your mouse over the map it is still dragging. Might be a firefox thing but it doesn't happen in google's.

yup, just checked. It doesn't do that in ie.

Not bad, but the aerial views aren't as detailed as googles.

No 3d earth application either.

Shows promise though.

I don't like that I can't seemlessly pan from one picture to the next. I'm not crazy about it.

2 advantages so far:
-Obviously the bird's-eye-view pics are closer/clearer
-Pics seem more recent, at least I can tell that the pic of my campus in Philadelphia was taken last winter.

I'm not liking the interface much, though.

The maps themselves are older than google.

My street dosent even show up on this one and its been there for 2 years.

I agree...plus it's still buggy....it's showing no pictures for zoomups of places that should have. Like parts of Wayne State's campus arent showing up, I hit reload it then it says other spots on the map cant be shown....etc etc 😕

OK, mine are actually more recent. Case-by-case basis, apparently.
