I read that earlier today. It might be the buzz from other software companies but I don't think you'll ever be seeing users saying google is evil for the free services it provides 😛

no kidding, i hate that they give me gmail, gtalk, google earth, gmaps and a great search engine for free!

Well ya never know. Right now Google's all sweet and nice and we all love it. We're like "Google is brilliant." But the folks at Google have a taste of 3 billion dollars, soon to be up to 7. Once the big money gets into your system, it never gets out!
 
Bleh. Everyone gets jealous when a company does well, suddenly its big and bad.

If AMD ever gets bigger than Intel, all the fanboys will flop and cry for Intel.
 
Google is doing one thing I like. They are marginalizing the OS. Each Product they release makes the OS it runs on trivial. This is a world I dream of, where what os you run doesn't matter, things just work. Google is helping make that happen.

Once OS's are no longer commercial big buisness, then software will have freedom to improve.

in the near future, hating Google will be the in thing to do.

Just like M$ bashing, and Apple bashing is right now.

Not only that but because google is hiring the talent, the other companies had to increase the pay to their employees in order to keep them from going over to google.
