A friend of my grandparents owned one of these, or something similar. What an amazing car! he gave us rides in it and everyone would stare. Unfortunately he ahd to sell it when he moved to NYC.

my gf's dad owns 3 of the E-types and a DeTomaso Pantera.

I would have to say the 1966 Shelby G.T.350H, but then again that is probably because I have one in the garage. :)

Is that one yours? If i had a car like that id have pics of it.....!

No, that one is not mine. Mine came from Shelby with the optional 10 spoke aluminum rims. I do have pics but they are almost 20 years old and obviously not digital. I have only had a digital camera for a couple of years and I haven't had the Shelby out of storage in the garage at my lakehouse for about 6 years. I drove the crap out of this car when I was younger, logging about 50K miles and finally had to store it due to space constraints. It is awaiting a full restoration like I performed on my 1957 Thunderbird but there are two Mustangs ahead of it in my collection and I haven't had time for those in a while either. It will be there when I get the time.

It isn't rotting. It is in storage. Cars don't get you women either, a dork in a Corvette is still a dork. Cars bring attention to you but after that if you don't have anything to hold a woman's attention then the car isn't going to do you much. Plus, I don't know if you could afford 7 mpg in town as this car has the 48 IDA downdraft Webbers on it currently. ;)
