Help tag some images for Google.

How does it work?
You'll be randomly paired with a partner who's online and using the feature. Over a 90-second period, you and your partner will be shown the same set of images and asked to provide as many labels as possible to describe each image you see. When your label matches your partner's label, you'll earn some points and move on to the next image until time runs out. After time expires, you can explore the images you've seen and the websites where those images were found. And we'll show you the points you've earned throughout the session.

For example, this image can be described by the labels: bird, sky, soaring, or frigate bird.

Sounds like Google is taking the Tom Sawyer approach to image indexing.

I've played another game like this online that uses google image search as a backend. Kinda cool they are putting it to good use. I just got 1000. Sucks when you get paired with a dipsh$t partner.

Not always. This one guy was making several guesses per second and that can mean only one thing: keyboard mashing. So I mashed my keyboard as well and soon enough we ended with 900 points and 9 images named "dfgds".

I would imagine they are going to run all their results through a filtering software with spellcheck to remove superfluous results.
