Which should i use? Im using directx right now but im not sure which is better---i just assumed DirectX since its more widely used with 3D apps (game wise).I have a 6800gt. What are the layers all about? Also, how come sometimes when i type a location in it shows a bunch of yellow circles with letters in them? Are there any other tweaks i can use for even better performance?

As far as OpenGL or DirectX goes, it doesn't much matter. Just use whichever runs better. The yellow circles show all of the results for the place you typed in. So if you were to type in Franklinville (my hometown), you would get all of the results for that place...churhes restaurants, barber, fire department, etc.

As far as tweaking goes, I would say just don't have more stuff open than you need...it can really bog down if you have alot of things checked.
