Google Drive came out, it allows google docs to hold any kind of data up to 5GB (google document format doesn't count towards 5GB).
It does away with the retarded pseudo folders and "view all" and lets you have real actual folders. Wonderful!

Not only that, it has a new feature where you can download drive sync to a computer, it creates a folder, which syncs between the cloud, that local machine, and any other machine that has it. PERFECT! What I always wanted.

Unfortunately that last feature is buggy as hell and lost a bunch of my files.
It has a ton of issues, first, it doesn't actually sync unless you restart the app manually. Then there is the issue that making any change while syncing causes files loss or duplication or some other weird corruption. Moving, renaming, overwriting, or otherwise changing files within the designated shared folder results in missing files or duplicates. Or permanent sync errors that don't go away.

Of course any file lost in such a manner is not in the trash... no its gone completely. And speaking of, the trash (only accessible online) cannot be sorted by date deleted. Only date modified, date viewed, and name.

I havwe win7x64, but googling its issues i found that the mac version will not properly disassociate when you tell it to stop syncing... so it leaves all the files and if you delete them afterwards? well they get deleted online and everywhere else.

The only way I can possible describe this is Epic Fail.

Google Chrome sync and Google Drive are two separate things.

I've tried Google Drive and while it's OK, I prefer Dropbox or Skydrive. The only advantage that GD has over them is cheaper storage plans.
