Google doesn't work in IE, but every other website does

I'm not sure if this is software or and OS problem, so I'll try both.

I have someone, who cannot get to google.com through an Internet browser. She can get to everything else without a problem. Every computer in her office can get to google.com, but she can't get to it. DNS seems to be working fine. She can't ping www.google.com, nor its IP address. When a traceroute is run, it gets to #21, I think, before it can't connect. I flushed the local DNS using the "ipconfig /flushdns" command.

I think it might be a spyware problem, which I will take a look at after work, but if anyone has any suggestion or comment, they would be greatly appreciated.

This is totaly related to my post Link

Search and find a file called hosts (no extension). Open with notepad and delete all the rogue entries in the file.
I got this, haven't installed anything, and have up to date virus def's and MS security patches.
