The browser is so slow in everything. Laggy and unresponsive. The stock browser is much better. The only thing it has going for it is the sync between all of the devices. This is on a Galaxy Nexus. I have no idea how it performs on the new models but ugh.

Absolutely horrible on my HTC One whether I use Sense or GPe. I just stick to the stock browser, which I still feel is crap as well.

On the One, I only use stock and Maxthon. I've tried Chrome, Dolphin, Firefox, and a few others, and some of them hitch/lag from time to time. Stock rarely does, and Maxthon is super quick.

i like it on my pc, but it is garbage on my electrify 2 and my transformer infinity. i know a guy at work with the note 2 and chrome works well. i dont get it, but it took them too long to get it on android to start with and it is ridiculously slow.

my electrify 2 is nothing special, but its a decent phone. that tablet though, that thing is nice, definitely top of the line when i go tit and chrome was always slow on it.

Yeah, Chrome has sucked for me on low end or older devices like the Galaxy Nexus, Kindle Fire HD, and such. Dolphin is a much better alternative in those cases.

I wish Google would do something about Chrome, because it's definitely pretty slow compared to other browser and requires a fast device to be reasonable.

Even Nvidia exploited Chrome's weakness when comparing the Tegra 4 against the Nexus 10 and used Chrome on the Nexus 10 and AOSP browser on the Tegra 4 device. :)

I'm not impressed, seems like Google is slowing down a bit on the apps/etc. development I really wish they'd put more energy behind them.

chrome is blazing fast at first but slows down rather quickly...

I find clearing the cache/data associated with it and disabling all the auto search features is the only way to get the speed back

It is not very good. I used to use it on Android because I use it on desktop and it is great. Plus it is Google so how can it not be the best. Used it for a while and thought, Android browsers suck compared to iOS. As it turns out, I tried Firefox on a random chance it was better and boy what a world of difference.

Now I just use the default browser in 4.3 and it gets the job done and it has Google bookmarks so it syncs with my desktop. Chrome was designed to be light but Firefox is much better not to mention that it supports extensions.

It's the only browser I use on my Nexus 4 and its plenty fine.
I used Dolphine when I had an older device though.

I've used it on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7, and it's generally been a positive experience. I wish that I could disable third-party cookies, however.

Firefox is my main browser on desktop, and I go through times where I use it as my primary on my phone and tablet. It has some key advantages, and some weaknesses that make me come crawling back.

Firefox lets me disable third-party cookies, it has a great reader mode that allows you to read a less cluttered version of a web page, it supports extensions (though I haven't seen any for mobile that are useful, aside from AdBlock, which doesn't actually function), and I can change numerous hidden settings through about:config.

However, it requires that I change a hidden setting (browser.formfill.enable) to disable form autofill and search history (Chrome has this in the settings manager), it doesn't have a tab strip on tablets like Chrome has, it's tab sync is far less reliable and usable, and it doesn't save my tabs if I kill it or turn off my device (probably the single most important feature of Chrome on Android for me).

The last one is planned for a future version, but all together, these pros and cons keep me oscillating between the two browsers on Android.

It's all about firefox. Chrome has been a piece of crud since it's conception on android.

At least on my HTC Sensation and HTC One X. I think it actually ran better on the Sensation.

Chrome on my Note II is fantastic. Guess it must be hungry for decent hardware but I don't have any reason to use anything else.

Chrome IS my stock browser for both my Nexus 7 and my RAZR HD. Seems fine. I couldn't (easily) install the older Browser on these devices even if I wanted to.

* Posted with Chrome on my Nexus 7.

If only Chrome had the quick controls like the stock browser, then I would use it as my main.

Chrome always gets a free pass because it's by Google. But I agree, it's the worst browser on Android right now.

Try Naked Browser. Good browser for geeks - no frills interface, extremely functional, and very fast. And it still supports Flash!

Naked browser's UI looks like it came from Minecraft though. I admit it is fast, but it's butt ugly.
