google checkout or integrated shopping cart

I'm setting up a website and I don't need a complicated shopping cart. All I need to charge for is advanced memberships and some simple upgrades. Probably 10 items total. If I use a shopping cart, I have to install it across multiple servers (load balanced cluster) and get SSL certs for each server.

I was thinking about just using Google Checkout instead. Anybody have any advice on the matter? I'm off to google it now.

google checkout is very user friendly for the consumer. i think it's a great set up - use it.

I'd use a complicated shopping cart if I were you.
Thank God I'm not.

As a customer, I like to use GCO over more traditional checkout methods when I shop.
