Google cache and can you really do anything about a cached page

So say someone manages to get a bad photo removed from a forum but when you google the title of the thread and click on google cache, the photo is still there from an earlier time. Can you really do anything or remove anything from google cache?

Moved to OT. Not a programming question.

Can you tell where the photo is hosted? It's probably not hosted on the forum. If you can get the hosting company to remove it, it should disappear from the Google cache as well. (I think they still don't cache photos.)

Also, beware of the Streisand Effect.

It's rather amazing what google cache can get. I am always amazed to find that some so called "tech" sites have it where google cache has stuff that is behind password protection. Private stuff such as messages and that..
