Last year they celebrated Cesar Chavez for Easter this year nothing. Last time Google did an Easter doodle was 2000.

The war on Christmas takes a lot of planning and effort. I forgive them for not having a dead bunny doodle.

I find it hilarious as an agnostic to watch liberal/athirsts make a fool of themselves try to troll Christians. Liberals/atheist aren't any more tolerant than the evangelist types they hate/mock. In fact I believe both are the opposite sides of the same coin.

At least they had an Easter doodle way back. So maybe things go along in cycles like their stock price(s). (plural for the recent stock split,) and in a few years the Easter related doodle will return.

Who needs to troll?

"In celebration of labor activist and United Farm Workers co-founder Cesar Chavez, Google changed one of the O’s in its logo to a portrait of the legendary organizer.

The decision to honor Chavez on this particular day has some perplexed and others angry.

It may be Chavez’s birthday, but it also happens to be Easter Sunday
.

Fox News Radio personality Todd Starnes took to his webpage to air his grievances.

‘Christians across the nation are outraged after Google decided to honor labor leader Cesar Chavez’s birthday instead of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday,’ Starnes wrote.

Alongside his complaints, Starnes posted an excerpt of the declaration from President Obama designation of March 31 as Cesar Chavez Day.

Starnes also posted comments sent in by his readers, many of them urging a Christian boycott of Google."

I like how you view people trying to troll on internet boards as the same as what people have tried to enforce on others in the US in the name of religion.

Old news, nothing like that was done today but don't let that keep you from joining the troll.

Wow, you're right. I'm sorry. It happened a whole year ago and surely nothing like that has ever occurred prior to or since then.

Sometimes there really are people out there who deserve every bit of ridicule that get's directed their way.

And, the people who whine and complain about the 'War on Christmas' or how persecuted and powerless Christians are in the present day United States are those people. They do it to themselves as the example I posted shows. These people are idiots and do a disservice to other Christians with their behavior.

I don't pay much attention to the Google things. Did Google do something for Passover? For any Muslim holidays? Buddhist holidays? It would appear that they're trying to stay neutral on the religious stuff. And, if they did something with Easter bunnies, they risk backlash from the "you're trying to secularize it" crowd.

I stopped using Google years ago (only have an old gmail that I still use - but never search with Google anymore) because of their political bullshit.

I use Bing these days.

I think you'll find - if you actually bother to check - that people are no more tolerant than people.

Generalizations always fail.
