I've been posting photos & such on a website using Blogger for ~ 1.5 years now for our local YMCA Adventure Guides. (boys & dads, group similar to Boy Scouts)

Since I also have a daughter, when she recently became old enough, we became active in the corresponding local girls group. (girls & dads, YMCA Adventure Princesses) The group used to have an active website, but it went dark more than a year ago, when the dad who set it up and maintained it moved away.
I volunteered to start posting some photos of activities from their group as well, thinking it would be easy to somehow "split" the existing blog into separate boys and girls posts.
So far, I'm not seeing how this would be done easily. I suppose I could simply use a different font for the Adventure Guides posts vs Adventure Princess posts, and make it obvious from the title which group it was for.
Is it a simple thing to make the large title text for a blog post different colors, for example? If so, then that might be enough to differentiate the two groups from each other. Someone scanning down through the various posts could easily pick out posts relevant to their group just by looking for the color of the heading text. Can anyone tell me how this could be accomplished?
However, we also have an "upcoming events" box over on the right side of the page for our Adventure Guides group. Rather than having this box listed in its entirety on the page, is there any way to only have something like "click here for Adventure Guides upcoming events", and then have a separate box with the same thing for the Adventure Princess group?
If I can figure these out, then I think we could use the same domain and blog for both groups, which would be helpful. (several of the dads are active in both groups, since they have both sons and daughters in the programs)
I wish there was also some way that we could let any of the dads in each group that have smartphones upload photos of our outings. Not necessarily to the blog, but to a page on the Internet where we could then easily grab a few of the best and then put them on the blog/website easily.
