It's a nice utility if you have a site and are looking for a free analytics solution. Basically just drop a bit of javascript code into each page and you're off and running. It's pretty much the exact same thing as Urchin (which Google bought earlier this year and was previously charging $199/month for.) It's just rebadged with the Google brand is all.
My company just recently bought the software version of Urchin (which can also be used to run reports on past site activity via log files - this free hosted service can't do that) and we love it. As a heavy advertiser on Google though, I'm a averse to allowing them to monitor my site activity. IMO it's a major conflict of interest for them to be able to see the ROI for my Google campaigns (much less any other online campaigns.)
