Was just strolling thru the goodle website and damn, google takes good care of their employess.. look at the 10 reasons thing they listed. Their lunch got me drooling and its free!

Just remember that all those perks come with a price, and you often pay that price in cash. I almost worked for Bloomberg LP, another company known for taking care of their employees. When I was weighing my options with a friend, I mentioned that I'd be making at least $10k/year less at Bloomberg, but with the free lunch and insurance and such, it might be worth it.

His comment was basically "$10k is $10k. If I could skip lunch every day for a year and get $10k for it, I wouldn't think twice about doing so."

I have never looked back.
