Absolutely, it's deploying that way now... just gradually.

At any rate, the most recent Android 12 monthly releases seem to have transformed the Pixel 6. The fingerprint reader works reasonably quickly for me these days! My main phone is an iPhone (I'm spoiled, I know) but I would happily jump to my Pixel if I had to.

I have no real complaints now compared to when I first got it. My FP reader works on the first try unless my hands are dirty or wet. I still think there needs to be a camera mode that doesn't blur the background so much on shots where it thinks it knows what the main object is. Like in this picture of parts on a table- I want all the parts to stay in focus. My LG G6 took better pictures in situations like this. Some people have speculated that newer versions of android will be optimized for the tensor chips. That would be smart on Google's part.

There are third-party camera apps that give you control over aperture to get the effect you want, but it would be nice if Google could include something like that in the stock camera app while using AI to fine-tune the results.

T-mo pushed out 13 to my phone last night. I do like the double tap the back to take a screen shot (or what ever you want it to do). That's a nice feature.
