We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. Maybe X is crashing. If you're set to the GUI login runlevel (I think it's 5 on Debian) then if the X11 server dies you get brough back to the login screen again.
It has to be a Gnome/Debian thing. It also did this on Libranet which is basically Debian. If the computer was inactive (no mouse/keyboard input) it would log me off to the GDM screen. X doesn't seem to be crashing. I have not noticed this behaviour using SuSE or Mandrake, which is what makes me think its a Debian thing. The timing seems to be the same as well.
