Is it normal for Drive A (original copy) to not be the exact same size as Drive B (Backup copy) in file synchronization software after a complete backup ?

It is possible, depends on the filesystem & block size of the HD (or whatever storage device) in question.

As long as you can do a hash (MD5, SHA-1) on the files, and they come up the same, you are good to go.

Out of the box, Goodsync keeps copies of deleted files in a hidden folder on the backup drive. If you like this feature, you can control how long the copies are kept. If you don't like it, you can turn it off.
