No such thing as 8.1, 7.1 is the best any manufacturer can do. Even then, the 6th and 7th channel are mono. 650 watts? What is the RMS rating into 8 ohms? Post this over at audioreview.com and be prepared to get flamed for your stupidity. >>

one interesting note is that many people who posted reviews bought the receiver from different sources for a little over $1000. others paid at least $1500. imho, this is a good deal nevertheless.
one more note...out of all receivers on the site with at least 10 reviews, this receiver was ranked the
5th best.

geespot, why don't you get your facts straight before you flame someone, especially since you've made only two posts and one is obviously unnecessary. you've been here since july of 2000 and probably read many threads and taken advantaged of many deals here. if you don't like it or disagree, be a little more friendly about it before you bring your trash in here. i'm sure many in this community would agree with me on that.
