Goodbye VOODOO3-3500, Hello GTS Pro.... NOW WHAT?

I just purchased and installed an MSI Geoforce2 GTS Pro 64mb ddr card, updated the drivers to the latest MSI release (1070, I think). Now what? Where is a good tweaking guide or forum for Geoforce cards? Unreal looks great, but Falcon has some wierd stuff in the 2d menu screens that I suspect are driver issues (but the sim appears MUCH BETTER than it was on the V3!). I have observed all kinds of stuff about reference drivers, but will I lose my MSI software interface and TV-out? Questions, questions, questions.......

FYI, the 2d seems as sharp as my V3 was, at least at 800x600, which is where I do my surfing and Office stuff.

What are some popular titles that take advantage of this card's features? My... kids .... (that's the ticket!) ... need some new ones now that we have some video horsepower!

anything that would benefit from T&L, would look and perform great on your GFPro.Titles like MDK2, MidtownMadness 2, among others, use T&L and therefore look great on GF based cards.Basically, everything should look better on your new card, because you are now able to set all quality settings to 'high', instead of the lower settings you no doubt used on your older V3.

the 10.70 drivers might be buggy..dunno for sure, because I've never used them.However, I find the 12.00 drivers to be very stable and error free.In my case, at least.

I just got the same card and I've been playing Giants: Citizen Kabuto at 1600x1200x16 at about 20-45 FPS, which is pretty sweet for such a detailed game. The game is kinda funny, a bit tedious, but it'll make you ooh and ahh more than a couple of times.

They got it HERE for 8.99 + shipping. Shipping is actually very high, so I'd suggest buying something else to make it worth your while. Hitman is pretty sweet looking, as so is Evolva .. You can pick up all of these for about 30.00 shipped.

And of course the free download of 3dmark 2001 from MADONION so you can see some purty benchmarks.

You've got to see how UT was meant to look!!!!!
Check out Game Basement , and see what kind of huge difference the second UT CD makes!! It will make that V3's 16bit Glide, seem like it was an old S3 Virge card in comparison.
