Goodbye USC hello Tennesee???

I think he had conflict with Pete Carroll, and even though he was doing an outstanding job at USC it's not like any colleges hired him for head coaching position so might as well try to do it at the NFL level.

He's leaving because he'd like to be a head coach and has been unable to get a head coaching job for some reason for years. He really wanted the Stanford job but didn't get it. He probably feels he needs some NFL experience to get a head coaching job somewhere.

If he does end up at Tenn, and they have a few good years, hell be a NFL head coach.

He wants to be the first Asian head coach of a NFL or D-1 team.
He just wants to be a coach. If some other Asian American jumps ahead of him, he wouldn't really care.

Chow's loss figures to hurt the most -- coach Pete Carroll has denied reports of a rift -- and Matt Leinart, who had elbow surgery two weeks ago, sounded shaken by the loss. "Obviously, it would have changed my thought process,'' the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, who passed up the NFL draft, told the Los Angeles Times. "I really don't want to play for a new guy coming in.''
